I am so happy I have Amanda to watch my fur babies! In the years she's been helping me out, my husband and I have had: 2 dogs and 1 cat, 1 dog and 2 cats, and 1 dog and 3 cats. All of my animals adore her, even our oldest cat who sometimes seems borderline homicidal with other people (yes, he's out for blood). She's so good at making them feel at ease, and I feel a lot more comfortable knowing that if there was an emergency while we are on vacation, Amanda has the training to handle it calmly and competently. She is great at keeping us in the loop when that's what we want, but also at not "bothering" us when we just want to enjoy our vacation (because pets are awesome, but it's nice to have a break from them every now and then). I know that she loves what she does -- the animals, of course, and also helping people. My dog is 10 years old, and I've had to board him at kennels plenty of times, but he's a big baby and really wants to be at home with his feline friends. Amanda makes that possible for us!

I'm so excited that you're able to focus on things that make you happy rather than being miserable at your old job. I'm sure it will take time to feel stable and accomplished, but you've already done so much to get here and I'm super proud that you're my friend. :-)
